Careers
Architecture and interior design job opportunities in Bend and Portland, OregonOn the most basic level our name is an acronym of the firm owners’ initials (Seth Anderson, Amy Vohs, and Jonah Jensen). But we know from experience that successful firms are more than those with their names on the door. To us, SĀJ Architecture represents the combined wisdom, experience, and creativity of everyone on our team.
When we founded the firm, our staff and principals identified the following core values:
INTEGRITY: Being honest and having strong moral principles
CREATIVITY: Generating new, useful, and meaningful ideas
PERSPECTIVE: Seeing things from different points of view
RESILIENCE: Withstanding, recovering, and growing
COMPASSION: Understanding and respecting others’ feelings and experiences
These values guide our every decision, from which projects to pursue to the consultants we hire to who we invite to join our team. They’ve helped us create a stable firm that focuses our dollars where they matter — on our people, projects, and communities. We’ve prioritized retaining experienced architects and designers and providing mentorship for those early in their careers.
